Video Sync
Video Sync is the industry standard for accurate synchronised video playback with modern DAWs that can supply MIDI Timecode & MIDI Machine Control, from Pro Tools® and Nuendo to Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, REAPER, Ableton Live! and Bitwig Studio. With support for both macOS and Windows, Video Sync offers the flexibility to run either on the same machine as your DAW or on a separate computer on the network, reducing your DAW's CPU load by letting it focus on the audio while Video Sync handles all the video heavy-lifting effortlessly. Widely used across all areas of sound post-production by composers, sound designers and editors, recordists and re-recording engineers, Video Sync delivers the tools you need to keep picture and audio perfectly in sync. Enjoy the tightest possible sync & integration with Pro Tools® | Ultimate™ & Pro Tools® | HD™ using Avid® Satellite Link. Delivering smooth, frame-accurate playback across a wide range of codecs, containers, frame rates & resolutions, Video Sync works hand-in-hand with supported Avid® and Blackmagic video devices. Professional video overlays are delivered through separate lanes for Markers, Streamers and Flutters, plus Spanner pan position overlays and live MIDI triggers for real-time cue control.
Video Sync Pro
Designed for demanding broadcast and post-production workflows, and incorporating all the features of Video Sync, Video Sync Pro adds advanced capabilities to meet the most rigorous requirements for facilities needing the highest quality picture output. Video Sync Pro unlocks native support for MXF containers (Op 1A and Op Atom), UHD and 4K playback on compatible displays, extends hardware support to include AJA devices alongside Avid® and Blackmagic, and adds genlocked playback for frame-perfect synchronization in house-sync'd facilities. Combined with the same comprehensive overlay system and support for dual-output configurations on selected hardware, Video Sync Pro is designed to sit comfortably in larger, house-sync'd facilities as well as high-end edit and mix rooms. Dual frame playback modes – including side-by-side, splitscreen and picture-in-picture – let voice talent and foley walkers preview pace before cue starts, or enable side-by-side comparison of different picture versions. Network-based video distribution via NDI and Syphon support enable creative workflows from remote client monitoring to projection mapping. Whether you are editing, mixing, recording or reviewing, Video Sync Pro delivers rock-solid, frame-accurate video that keeps up with the most complex sessions.
A Cue Pro license or subscription can also be used to run Video Sync Pro.
